You never know what is going to set her off. It can be anything as little as giving her the wrong cup or as big as the wrong pair of shoes. As parents we are defined on how we handle these moments. I jest. If you can keep your cool then you are doing good. You are still good if you just lose it for a little bit. The struggle is real though and I know you know what I am talking about.
Ballet class today and I am running point. Kelly had an early appointment so she was not able to come. Should not be a problem, after all I am just bringing Ram and taking her home. Wrong. Ram wants mommy to drive her. Kelly’s last words as she leaves us in the driveway, “Well, good luck. If it doesn’t work it doesn’t work.” I got her calmed down and I thought we were good to go. Once inside her class though, Ram just wanted to go home. I made her stay and after 10 minutes of sulking she is getting her ballet on. #winning #thefonz
