Big Girl

Wednesday here we go again, and so far so good. Ram had pancakes for breakfast today. She is into feeding herself and johnny cakes and fruit is a match made in finger food heaven. My little girl is becoming more independent every day. It is a bit sad but at the same time I beam with pride when she does something on her own. I have a feeling it will go this way for the rest of our lives.

Yesterday Kelly and I took Ramona to the park. We needed to get out of the house and when Kelly got a break from work we took advantage. Ramona is becoming quite the little climber. She even crawled up the slide backwards! It was really nice to spend a little time with my girls at the park. The park on a hot day when school is in session is kind of lonely, which turned out pretty good for us. It gave Ramona a chance to explore without any big kids to navigate around. Of course my little socialite would probably have preferred the big kids!

Today is Ramona’s second day at the day school or day care. I don’t really know what to call it! I do know that Ramona really seems to like it. A bunch of toys to play with and kids to share them with, what is not to like? Life is moving fast but we are enjoying all of it that we can and I hope you are doing the same. Have a great week!
